Properties: white crystal. Relative density is 2.338, and melting point is 252.6 centigrade. It is soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol, and water solution shows acidity. It melts and becomes transparent liquid at 400 centigrade. After refrigerating, it becomes opaque potassium metaphosphate. It is easy to deliquesce.

Application
WATER SOLUBLE FERTILIZER:
It is widely used as fertilizers. As a source of phosphorus and potassium, it is a key component in numerous urea and ammonium phosphate-based fertilizers, largely due to its ability to regulate ammonia levels via a lower pH balance.
FEED ADDITIVES:
In the feed industry, mono potassium phosphate is mainly used as a mineral element additive to supplement phosphorus and potassium, especially widely used in fish feed. With the rapid development of fish feeding industry in recent years, the amount of potassium dihydrogen phosphate in this field will also increase.
FOOD ADDITIVES:
Applied in Industry as Leavening agent, Nutrition fortifier, Buffering agent, Chelating agent.It can be widely used as a bacterial culture agent, a flavoring agent for synthetic sake, as a raw material in potassium metaphosphate production, and as a culture, reinforcing, leavening and fermentation agent in yeast.
